  I Have been a Sam's Club Plus member for many years. I had a complaint about a late fee and a day's interest on my bill and decided to call the 800 number and see if I could get it removed. The 800 number customer service system gave me a summary of the account but no option to speak to a service representative. I tried for 2 days, it always told me to call back. I finally went to the credit card web site and with no other numbers available to call, I used the chat service. The first chat session timed out. So I started over again, Thinking about what you want to say and quickly keeping up with someone that types for a living is a bit daunting. I finally was able to make my case and get the bill adjusted. I appreciated they gave me the credit and took care of my problem. 5 stars for that. My reason for the one star review is this is an unsatisfactory customer service environment. If I was a little older or not sophisticated enough to go through a chat dialog box, I would ave been left with writing a letter or visiting a Sam's store. None of my other credit card companies are this difficult to deal with. I believe AMEX is the easiest. I spend thousands of dollars with Sam's each year and pay for the Plus membership. There should be a better level of service.
